Prices are listed in Kenyan Shillings (KES). For regular rental properties the price shown is the monthly rent. For short-stay properties it is the nightly rate. Final rent or booking amounts are confirmed with the assigned agent.
Listings are submitted and managed by our network of registered agents who are responsible for accuracy. Properties bearing the Verified badge have been reviewed by our team. We encourage clients to always confirm details directly with the assigned agent before making any commitments.

Some listings are directly managed by a registered real estate agency on the platform. When you send a request for an agency-owned property, it goes straight to that agency's team who will contact you directly.
On any property listing, click the "Send Request" button. Fill in your:

After every successful request you receive a unique Client Reference ID in the format CLT-YYYYMM-XXXXXX (e.g. CLT-202504-A3F9K2).

No. Requests are open to everyone — no account or sign-in required. Just provide your contact details in the request form and an agent will reach out to you.
Our agents are notified immediately when a request is submitted. You can typically expect to be contacted within 24 hours. For urgent inquiries feel free to use the WhatsApp number shown on the listing.
Yes. You can send requests for as many properties as you like. Each request generates its own Client Reference ID and is routed to the agent responsible for that neighbourhood.

Hostel requests require your institution/university name and your preferred move-in date. This helps the agent prepare the right unit and coordinate with the hostel management.

The listed nightly rate is the base price. Additional charges such as cleaning fees, extra guest fees, or caution deposits are host-specific and will be communicated by the agent during confirmation.

When a client submits a request, the system automatically identifies the property's neighbourhood and routes the request to the agent assigned to that neighbourhood. If no neighbourhood agent is found, the request goes to the property owner directly.
You receive an in-platform notification in your Account panel as soon as a request is submitted for a property in your assigned neighbourhood. The notification includes the client's name, phone number, email, and their Client Reference ID.
Yes. Registered agencies can manage a team of agents under one account and assign them to specific neighbourhoods. Contact our support team at support@vunokejani.co.ke to set up an agency account.

VunoBot is accessible to everyone. Signed-in users get personalised recommendations based on their search history and saved preferences.
VunoBot primarily operates in English and understands common Kenyan terms and Swahili property vocabulary (e.g. "bedsitter", "SQ", "nyumba ya kupanga").
